She battled through the forest all day,
She needed somewhere to rest her eyes...
Sometimes I'll flip sometimes I'll spin,
Sometimes I'll lose sometimes I'll win...
I traverse this island nation,
And I've traveled over seas...
I do not have a halo,
But a circular spinning disc...
When everything around you crumbles
When all you can see is dust...
You try to close the coffin
But the thing inside wants out...
Of all the things you've said and done...
Slowly, silently and steadily I walk.
No sound assaults my ears, no necessity to talk...
Slumber is now calling
Yet I simply cannot hear...
I don't dream so often anymore.
If I do then I seldom remember context or details...
I need but one day.
Just one will do just nicely...
Let me see your brilliance
Let me see your light...
