Water dribbles past the icy sheath
and pummels sandstone with its shine...
Can everything return to what it was
And freeze in place until I catch my breath...
I'm not so scared of pain
I'm more frightened by an ache...
It curls its mitts around my throat
And threads its doubts into my veins...
I'm lost in my umbrella
But my jacket's nearly soaked...
The puddles by my window
softly shiver in the wind...
silent robbery
forming a consuming void...
plump dumplings simmer
warm food fills my stomach...
fallen soft white form
coated in a crimson smile...
Each grain of sand went sifting through the others
And as I ran, I barely heard the thunder...
The stars collapsed
and in their flames...
I saw my mother struggle
with the tears that filled her eyes...
