In a dungeon bright and cheery
Where my hopes and dreams all lay...
You're a need, not a want, in their mind
And they don't care what evil they find...
The edge of the world is close to my house
I go there on walks quite often...
Armed with all our pain and our misgivings
Love's found in the impermanence of living...
If I am all the things I love,
Then I am you and none of me...
Words slither from your tongue
and down my throat...
Spinning, hurtling, tumbling through the air
The pointed nose, the tail so bright...
I disappeared the other day
I don't know how I did...
I saw my mother struggle
with the tears that filled her eyes...
The moon,
draped in a curtain of silk...
The silver of rivers
The smoothness of stone...
Tears gather on my lower lashes
Threatening the plunge to suicide...
