I write for income from time to time - mostly business writing or essays. However, I would like to give poetry a try now. I am not familiar with poetry as craft, so this is all experimental for me. My previous professional studies included theology, New Testament and classical Greek, and through poetry I would like to tease out some theological and philosophical concepts applied to our current digital post-postmodern age. I also might deviate from my normal pattern of editing my work to perfection with some of my poems, instead writing poetry as performance or a moment that is fleeting, imperfections and all. Finally, I've been granted the blessing and curse of bipolar "disorder" with psychosis, so I'm sure the strangeness of my mind will become quite apparent too. |
God is dead!
He has killed himself...
He fits in everywhere, yet he fits in nowhere,
And he roams between ephemeral territories...
I am my own worst enemy, and the enemy of my enemy...
I did not receive a proper lesson in Foucault's...
Do you trust all that you read,
All that you see...
