A poet's mind is always in a daze.
Never rests in a peaceful slumber...
She sits by her daughters grave today
Remembering all the times in their past...
I'm not sure how you did it.
How you stole my heart from me...
Sun kissed skin.
Dirt covered feet...
You say things that scare me.
Things that make my heart race...
<the journey of changing one’s mind, heart...
I’ve become the master of my own demise...
A woman’s voice can be heard silently
singing pacifying lullabies to the angels...
She screams at the walls closing in
As she hits them fiercely with her fist...
It has been seven years since you died.
You took your life and tried to justify it...
She once was the perfect daughter
who would do anything she had to...
You can’t choose your family.
You have to learn to grow together...
Her body aches in resistance and pain.
Blackness coats the skin under her eyes...
