Anuraag Sharma is a bilingual poet and creative writer from Ajmer, India. A retired Professor of English, he has to his credit nearly 28 books, including collections of poems, short stories, critical studies, a trilogy of plays, volumes of translations, etc. published so far. He has guided as many as 25 scholars for the award of the degree of Ph D and M.Phil. A globe trotting Seminarian, he has represented India at various international forums in China, Denmark, Australia, the U.S. and Fiji. His poems and articles have appeared in numerous international magazines and research journals. For the last fifteen years, he has been the Editor of the biannual international journal of Poetry & Creative Writing -- PROSOPISIA -- which is the flagship of ARAWLII (Academy of (W)riters and World Literati) of which he is the life long President. A cancer survivor, he is a full time writer and currently lives in Ajmer. |
