There are worse things in life than failure or disappointment. Far worse things!

The weight of words should not be defined by the depth of their meaning or the place of their origin, but rather in their ability to inspire change.

Unfortunate, that the circumstances that befall us so often bare themselves a predetermined limitation: that we must consider others before ourselves in matters where we would and should otherwise be selfish.

Our faith in the judicial system should not be based in our personal belief of guilt or innocence but rather in its conviction to enforce justice based upon its own established laws and principles.

Oh, how futile man's rebuttal for these words stand true... Thus is life.

There is hardly any comfort that surpasses the first words from a familiar voice in trying times.

A parent should never say to their child, "I told you so!" When serving as both a teacher and a mentor these words have no quality, provide no direction, reserve no maturity, and display nothing of a caring, compassionate, supportive nature.

A taste that lingers does not satisfy.

You each should keep in mind that, in only so much as you are able to read and comprehend these words, you enjoy a quality of life superior to another and such simple ideas should never be taken for granted.
