I am one of those that do not sleep,
Instead I sit at my wooden desk awake...
With a face that glows,
A voice that sings...
I was young, very mature but very naive,
Grew up to be foolhardy, go-with-the flow...
In your name and in my pride I'll not long for...
And for the sake of honour not succumb to tempting...
Staring into your eyes I find,
That I cannot hold your gaze for long...
Every word you slip in ever sentence of ever...
Incites me with hope and just makes everything...
I’d like to write a poem about despair and...
Because hidden underneath desolate agony is beauty...
You wash over me like rain.
Like empty streets, country lanes...
Come lay down your sweet and weary head,
My mind fears we've come to our journey's end...
Look at my hands, at how they tremble to your...
Take a glance deep within my eyes, I hold no lies...
Rather be with you right now,
Than searching to find a place...
Take not your hand from mine, hold it tight!
Speak so that I hear a voice and it calms...
