A lover’s hand I held so close to mine,
In darkened days – a small light I do find...
Hatred it all I really feel.
Pain inside my inner shell...
Taking amendment
Addictive are your lips...
My time is running out,
My life is seeing a picture...
See it in your eyes,
What lay’s at the end of this road...
I see the world for what it is,
And yet my eyes feel glazed with hate...
The time of forgiving is over,
The lonely soul wonders in the dark...
I use a blade to scratch an itch,
An itch that I simply cannot reach...
You believe that a drug can cure you,
You believe that a knife can impale only skin...
The past of man, forgotten a tale
All the hands, deprived and pale...
*This poem is by Ashley houck and me...
I open up your letter...
Take today and hold it out,
Make the past forget you...
