you make the day fine and hold my hand...

I closed my eyes for just a second
I imagined us together...

I can't wait to see you
To spill out my heart...

I saw this boy, he's standing in the distance...
He looks so lost, it throws me off, I feel a tear...

The day is a dagger
ripping at my sides...

Daddy says the world is
a drum tight and hard...

My heart cannot recover
my wounds can never heal...

I wanted his love
and now he's by my side...

The tears I cried, my eyes dried out
no last goodbye, just one last shout...
