Interesting things about you!

Hi! I'm Sean/Jack... confused? I'll explain. I have something interesting about me. And I thought it would be nice to share. And hear whats interesting about all of you!

I've been bullied since I was small. From the day I started school, to that fateful day in 7th grade... I had no friends. By 6th grade I had stopped talking completely out of shame. It was soo bad, that whenever I opened my mouth to speak, other kids pointed and laughed at me. So, one day in 7th grade a kid pushed me down the stairs at school. I've hit my head really hard on the wall at the bottom and began to bleed. As I laid there in a puddle of my own blood, I began to cry. And every student in the hall pointed and laughed at me. I was rushed to the hospital and returned to school the next day. I was walking down the hall and seen the kid that pushed me down the stairs. I felt compelled to beat him up for revenge, and I wanted to cry and run away at the same time.

Thats when I developed DID. I blacked out. Ever since I've had this condition known as Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Its an advanced form of multiple personality disorder. So now whenever I get too stressed out, I black out and become someone else named Jack.

    Pretty interesting eh?

Eh, I've been dealing with it for ... 8 years now. And I've really learned how to control my stress so I don't switch that often. But it is really hard to cope with, thank you for understanding :)

I'm alright... My way of dealing with it was telling everyone I know about it. The more people who accept it, the better I feel :)

Mines like... Really difficult to describe. I don't mean I just get pissed off and act different.. I actually black out and don't remember anything that happens. Like "Jack" could kill someone and I wouldn't know. It's really ... bad.

Wow, sounds pretty scary. But it's good that you want to tell people about it I guess and you're right, the more people that accept it the better!

Wow, my "interesting" things about me kinda pale in comparison to that! All I've got is...

The second toe on my right foot is longer than the big one.

I moved from the UK to the US 6 months ago (and I want to go home so bad).

And I think I may have a very mild case of OCD as every time I get in the car to drive anywhere I have to ping my spongebob squarepants air freshener otherwise it's bad luck. And I have to arrange my underwear drawer in a specific way with knickers (panties) on the left, socks on the right and bras in the middle dividing the two. I never wear my socks in pairs except a couple of "special pairs" AND whenever I use pencil crayons or felt tips I have to arrange them in rainbow order before I use them.

    Haha,

But apart from that, I'm pretty boring!

Oh, I forgot to add the fact that if I have mayonnaise or salad cream or ketchup or any kind of sauce with a meal, it can't touch any of the other food unless I make it. Haha.

I actually have split personalities also. It's weird because both of them have their own past stories and everything! My more common one is Kay. He's a huge man-whore, which makes things really awkward considering I'm a straight chick. He drinks like a fish and smokes like a chimney with a burning lust for cancer, not to mention gambols (and cheats) anytime he has the chance. He's really funny though and has charisma like no other! My other one which is less common, but causes huge blackout sessions like yours is Victorya (weird spelling, I know). I'm always worried when I'm in that mind-set because she tends to be really cruel. I can hear her in the back of my mind offering to knock people off whenever they upset me. >< I don't know what caused mine though.

I'm actually diagnosed bipolar, but I've managed to ween myself off medication and, in sense, control my condition. But I still have occasionally periods of extreme highs and lows.

I was also ran over by a school bus a few years ago. I kind of consider that day my day of rebirth (May 18th, 2005) because it completely changed my outlook and attitude. I can walk and all now, just managed to get away with some nerve damage in my left leg, but overall, luck was on my side :)

Major props to you Sean and Jack for being able to share your condition though. To be honest, I find it pretty interesting.

First off to Adam: It's just me Sean almost all of the time. I haven't switched for ... over a month now so I'm stalking you on my own accord... muhuhahahaha! :P

Yeah, having this is very difficult to cope with sometimes. I lost friends because of it. Not just the fact that it's unique and kinda frightening, but because when I switch I get insanely bad stomach cramps and I normally roll around screaming in pain for 15min before I finally switch. Most of my friends can't stand to see me in that much pain... :(

I'm not dangerous... I just can't control some of what I do or so to other people. But its not soo bad, I've been dealing with it for 8 years now and I've learned to control it fairly decently :P
