Emotional pyramids eliminate stimulations
with beats of my lonesome heart
that plays its melodies trapped within new perspectives;
I found some profound thoughts, notions worth saving.

Some tracks endlessly replay to emit violet sunrays
illuminating darkened moments locked and forlorn;
there's some desperation weaved inside my eyes,
yet, music washes away artistic pulse and regrets.

I have a box of favorite smiles for the whole world to see,
as memories fade, lyrics don't cut frail skin anymore-
Intertwined rhythms own this soul, swirling,
easing pain within triangles of expectations.

Don't Forget To Remember Me

You never did let me finish what I always wanted to say,
And I think that's why I'm suddenly struck with stars,
Star struck? You ask. No, fame never did appeal to me,
Yet you still ask the reason for all my favourite scars.

Price tags and mark-ups challenge values of all sorts,
With stamping ink and coloured paper I write and press,
Seeking approval from you was always a high priority,
But I'd never admit that, even after you're impressed.

This blue ink runs violet when a rain of sorts drop,
Black blood runs cold in this rainbow of coloured clashes,
And between the words and the colours and the days,
There are too many in-betweens to define the dots from the dashes.

Don't forget to remember me when something better comes along,
Because we both know it always does and I'm the only one worried,
For old times sake lets do this dance before your blood runs dry,
And I'm left here yet again alone, to write another page wearied.

If I just close my eyes that cloud will be mine
and intimate, rhythmic whispers will fill the sky
slaving to the images of bottled words
succumbing to instrumental divinity, surrendering.

Verses burn between fingertips smeared with violet tones,
gliding down the soul of glittering velvet, playing-
my darkness merges with your spotless words
lingering between ensnared astonishments.

If I just open my mind your mystical charm will belong to me,
it will follow me through this laced world, everywhere I go,
finding caves and torches within silent temples
succumbing to instrumental divinity, surrendering.

Questioning our relationship over and over; It is just me?
Well baby, I`m growing weaker as the seconds pass by;
A few more minutes, I might just float up to the Heavens-
I normally am not the one to give up but I can`t take it...
My body is freezing but my love for you is still burning.

I`m drowning; your delicate hands must be to precious-
To attempt to bring me back to life, I didn`t say succeed;
Frozen with pain; My body is in an uncomfortable position,
That of a broken heart, know it does some real damage;
Praying that someone will turn back hands of time [liars]

You told me you`d never leave, boy was I foolish...
I always knew you were lying, but they sounded so good;
Knots in my stomach keep multiplying; Just make it stop,
Bleeding for the lover of lies and he doesn`t even know it-

Wearing these scars for everyone to see, I don`t care-

Just be mindful- I am suffering from a broken heart;

This is a little different from what I would do for a contest... but it just came to me... so whatever

Painfully trying to swallow my own self loathing
As pride collapses agonizingly down around me
Seeing pity in your eyes, the tears begin to well
Shouldn't, but can't help throwing myself at your feet

For even though you've finally moved on in your life
I'm still clinging desperately to our cherished memories
Hoping against hope that you will find it in your heart
To let down the barriers and finally start to forgive me

How could I have ever treated you the way that I did
Had the best thing in the world, was to selfish to realize
Oh if only I could turn back time, erase all my mistakes

This heart is breaking into more shattered pieces each day
