South Carolina/North Carolina

Does anyone know of any good cities there to live in? I wish to relocate someday and I have my mind set on either North Carolina or South Carolina...I don't wanna live near the coast and i want the city to be somewhat big...any ideas? I was thinking of Concord.

Im from Concord myself, still reside here.

Its a nice city I suppose, of course, I truly cant compare it to anywhere else as I've been here my whole life. Charlotte is nearby, so if you want something big - you can always commute there on weekends or what not I suppose.

If you're looking for extreme excitement and that whole deal - then Concord isn't the place to be :P. We do have the Parmount Carowinds Amusement Park though in South Charlotte, so thats always a viable option in the summer.

Sweet thank you...is there like...a bunch of malls...or hospitals? Does it have a high class of people? Are there job openings (specifically in the medical field)? Do you get very bored?

There's two major malls in the area - Concord Mills (which is the main one - its in an oval shape, a complete walk around the mall equates to like a mile and half I believe) and Carolina Mall (which is my prefered one, small and developing). Right next to the mall theres the Northeast Medical Center, and as of recently, a new Children's Hospital. As far as high class goes, I'm not really sure what to say. I'd say we have an average mix I'd guess, there's a couple rough parts of town, but generally its not too bad.

I personally don't get too bored, I live within a 10 minute walk of a park, so I tend to spend most of my time down there by the lake writing. If you decide to settle in concord be sure to check out North Cabarrus Park - its still developing as it was built 2ish years ago, but it has some real nice writing spots.
