Boyfriend's Mother

Have any of you ever watched the movie "Monster-In-Law"?If you have then take that & multiply it by 1000000000 & you'll have my boyfriend's mother.I can't stand that woman!She is the most 2-faced, hypocritical, cry baby I have ever met in my whole entire life.I've put up with her for over a year now & she's about to drive me insane.I will continue to put up with her only because I love Ethan.

Does anybody else have trouble with the "in-laws?"

Yep lol Mine did not like me before she had ever met me, I was the girl who "took" her little boy. I'm not sure where I've taken him lol but never the less she has never gotten over it.

Yeah!That is exactly how she is!I can't stand her...I didn't do anything for her to hate me she just automatically does...grrr!

There is nothing you can do except smile like you mean it lol I respectfully keep my distance, I love the rest of his family so that's a plus.

My Boyfriend's mother is like that. She has kept an eye on me like "I'm watching you" type thing. I can understand why though. he's all she "Has left" Or so she says. It just bothers me how much she watches the two of us when we're together. Tis Annoying.

Sadly, My Mother is worse though...Good thing He's Made a good impression on her..other wise..I think My mom would have banned Me from seeinf him at all...If she could keep me away from him that is.

We're Discussing it. There's Nothing wrong with that.

My boyfriend & I are actually arguing about it now i reckon...cause he doesn't have the guts to stand up to her...its happened before so we'll be ok

I have a way with parents :) my ex's mom keeps asking me to stop by and visit her because she adores me but I think it would just be too painful.

I THINK...THAT YOU SHOULD BE NICE TO HER NO MATTER WHAT...BECAUSE IT IS YOUR BF MOTHER... I THINK IT WOULD MAKE HER REALLY MAD...IF YOU JUST BE NICE TO HER...DONT STOOP TO HER LEVEL...DONT SHOW WHAT SHE THINKS YOU ARE... DO YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN???

I am nice to her but she still hates me & she always tries to make me & ethan fight...& sometimes she suceeds

Oh im not doubting that you are nice to her.... she is probably just waiting for you to snap at her...so she can truly say that you are not a good person for her son...is your bf her only son or the youngest...?

If you are happy together, you both just have to learn to ignore her, if you allow her to get to both of you, she just gets what she wants and it is the 2 of you that lose. Let everything go in one ear and out the other.

She is just jealous and it bothers her that you are with him...
But yea...just try to ignore her and leave it alone...
It is probably hard for him because he loves you and that's his mom... so you kind of had to understand him...but that is mest up what she is doing to your relationship.... you probably just have to give it time...
