"If Everyone Cared" please.

I'll take "someone that you're with." can it bee an old poem? b/c that poem is actually and literally inspired by that song. if not, i'll take "all the wrong reasons."

If i can do the old one, here it is:

You're just the salt in the wound of my broken heart
You're just a mass of confusion getting ready to start
You're an ongoing battle of a war already won
You're the loaded silver bullet in my suicide gun
And I'll say "I love you" once again...

You used to be my one and only
But now I'm here broken and lonely
While you're hanging out with someone else...
Toss me aside and tear me open
Stole my heart and now it's broken
As I watch you kiss somebody else...

You're the one I want to be with but you're with somebody else
And I take it you don't want me back again

You're the poison in my white wine
You're the first star in night's shine
You're the black hole in the back of my mind
You're what I lost and just can't find
And I' m willing to love you again...

You're the one I loved for a million reasons
You're the one I need like breathing
But I see you looking in the eyes of someone else...
You're making my life miserable
But you're just so irresistible
But still I cannot be that someone else...

You're the one I want to be with but you're with somebody else
And I take it you don't want to hear my voice again

And if you're not you sure can fake it

Which is asking you to please be mine

My roses fall to the floor

Why can't I still be that someone else?
I make a beeline for the door
As you pick up the roses from the floor

PHOTOGRAPH

The luminescent glow of candle light.
The aura it puts upon my oaken desk.
All thats in my hands, a faded photograph, a sight.
Tears just held back, but only with all my might.

Long ago, the event occurred, but never a day goes by.
When my mind doesn't wander to think of him.
And always do I let out a sigh.
For the one I love, who let me down with one simple lie.

How could I trust him, that much I thought.
I didn't give him the second chance he deserved.
And now the sun has set, no time left, he never sought,
He let me be. And I didn't see we were BOTH distraught.

I didn't choose to see the love we had.
I blew the only true chance I'd have at happiness.
and now all I have is a memory, so sad.
of the one true love I'll ever have.

Liquid screams
And cocaine dreams
Dripping down the road

A slippery slope
So hard to cope
They try to bear the load

Cameras flashing
Cars are crashing
Brilliant burning stars

Always falling
Time recalling
Picking at the scars

Money madness
Lonely sadness
False friends dig your sound

When music's gone
And life moves on
Will they still be around

Rockstar dreams
The poet screams
Released into the night

Singe the stage
Such praise and rage
Dive into delight

To see who can last longer
Because I'm not in it to win
I know your stronger

You will always devour me

Tear down my walls, make me weak
Can anyone hear me shout scream and holler

Nothing will ever change

The bull and the ram head on head

The dash will be brutal
But because I am weaker
Verbally, physically, and emotionally

As I sit broken from defeat

Life's so hard to take my goal
These iron bars they hold me so
And I can't reach for you
The sand of time, they box me in
Like daggers cutting at my skin
And through it all is you
All I see is blood and pain
And the cold steel rings into my brain
And all I see is you
The box I'm in cant hold my soul
But all I see are 4 tall walls
And in the dark I feel so cold
And in my mind is you
I see myself beside you, close
Into the twilight I must escape
Coz' all I want is you
And all I need is you
