my real friends

just last week my whole 7th and 8th grade class found out i used to self harm.my teacher found a note about it and asked me to see a counseler and the counseler knew.so now my class knows and i found out who my true friends were and werent.it was only my best friend who knew about my self harm and she used to do it too and the note and said her name too so she had to talk to the counseler too.a couple of what i thought were my friends were snickering behind me and my best friends back.but the rest of my friends were really there.they said that they were there for us and they werent going to turn there backs on us.and those few "friends" i trusted so well werent really my friends.it's said the only person u can trust is yourself,i guess i'll never understand that cuz i have a bad habit of trusting alot of people.that day i decided they only people i could truly trust was my sister and my best friend.now i'm starting to think....not even them.
