Dreaming About An Ex

So.. in the middle of December, my ex-boyfriend Tyler moved away from Arkansas to Las Vegas. We never broke up, really. He said he wanted a LDR with me, but then moved and I never spoke to him again.

Anyways.. now I have a new boyfriend, but this is a LDR as well. I'm perfectly happy with this guy though, but... last night, I had so many dreams about my ex. He had came back to me in real life and honestly, I couldn't have been happier. We were just like how we used to be, except I was holding onto him tighter than I ever have before. I didn't want him to disappear again. Then I woke up.. and before I knew it I was crying.

What does it mean? I think I probably missed him a little more than even I knew.

It means you're not ready for another relationship yet, while your still holding on to the memory of being with your ex, you're bening very unfair on this other boy. I know you don't mean to be but you are.
While you're still hung up over your ex, you shouldn't try giving your heart to anyone else as it all ends in tears.
Break up with this other boy for his own and your own good, it's unfair to string him along while you still pine for your ex.

Thank you both, Mike and Gem. You both have different opinions on the situation, and I think I'm going to listen to a little bit on them both. I will continue dating my boyfriend, but I think I will let him know about this dream. Yes.. me and Tyler will never go together again. We have both changed, and it just wouldn't be the same like I've hoped for, ever again. And I'm not going to break my boyfriend's heart just over a dream. We all dream about the past every once and awhile.
