Noir-dont realy understand his argument

For: This is his website and he needs to be more involved in the upkeep and keeping in touch with the mods so they are aware of what is going on.

For: after taking the time to set up a website that so many people depend on these days, it's a shame to neglect it the way he has done in the past. A crying shame.

I believe that Janis' arrival has been a god send in terms of improving the site, however when he does come, he will ignore the little things and resume to his daily life... So again I am sitting on the fence here...

I think Janis, is a sort of person who actually is caught up with real life...Seriously cut him some slack, enjoy what he has given us poets, which is a website, where we can share poems, speak, debate, hate, love, fraternize....Lol.

For- I think that there are a bunch of things that need to be looked into an changed like this new praising comments thing, along with some set ups and stuff him getting more involved in this site could make things much better

I agree with this comment to a certain extent. He did create this wonderful website for us, I could care less if he posts in the discussion forums or not. If he is so caught up with real life as you say, then he should offer the site to someone else who is able and willing to take over, make needed upgrades, changes and answer people's concerns.

Isn't that a little extreme, I mean, he is doing the updates, changes and answering people's concerns now. I think that it is his perogative if he wants to live his life, to his own choosing and deal with the updates.

We mustn't judge him nor must we allocate him as something he's not.

He made this site, into what it is, and he alone can do as he pleases with it.

:S are u kidding? he left about 2 years ago (give or take, someone plz corrct me) he has done almost no updates in months, and yes, as the owner of the site, that makes him responsible for making sure the wants of the people are met...for example, i know im going out on a limb here, but the chatroom, if it was here, more people would be online, so more poems/quotes would be produced...thats just one of many pros to having janis back, the ability to have a strong monarchy-type leader who can make discisuions without having to go through a supperiour

Lol... Actually if you read the updates, he's been gone for 9 months... The thing is that as owner of the site, he does have responsibilities, however, as owner of the site, he has no obligation to either post on the forums or bend to any person's wishes...

We musn't complain about his appearances or otherwise because fact is... all we really need him for is keeping the site ship-shape which he already done...

He has to have been here some time lately, because he praised one of my comments. Or at least I think that was him... o.o Yep, I'm pretty sure, because it said Praised by : Janis Krumins.

Anyways, I say we should just be grateful that we have a place like this. Stop bothering him, or he just might think it's too much trouble and close it. I don't want that to happen. I love P&Q :[ I mean it would be great if he was more active in the site, but I just don't want to keep pushing it.

No, it isn't extreme. Updates were recently made and before this uuummmmm let me count the months it had been......The site recently went down for days to with no warning or explaination.

Yes it is his site and he can do what he pleases, true. It is of concern to the members of the site.
