Moving away... help?

Ok, so I moved to Kansas about... 5-6 months ago. And I met a girl and we started going out... But eventually I just decided I really didn't feel that way about her and left.

Now I'm planning on moving back to Pennsylvania... and this girl has done soo much for me. Although we haven't spoken in like 2-3 months, I want to say goodbye.

Should I or shouldn't I? And if I should... any suggestions?

I say you should. It doesn't have to be a big deal; just a good bye and a thank you for everything. Simple.

Depends. do you think it'll upset her, or make her feel better? i mean was the break up like a really bad cut off on your end?

i think you should do what you feel is right, and what will make her feel best in the end. best bets is to keep it short and sweet and to let her know you appreciate what she's done for you.

I agree with Lucy. If the breakup hit her very hard, and you haven't spoken for months, she's probably been using this time to get over you. Perhaps send her an email or give her a call, saying what you feel, and if she wants to meet up, the ball is in her court.

Hmm... I guess it's more a respect/honor thing. I really don't care if she knows I'm leaving or not. I just think it'd be nice of me to thank her and say goodbye. And I don't know how the break-up went. We just haven't spoken for months so I assumed it was over. It wasn't bad ... we just stopped talking.

I'm worried that she IS upset, and that my goodbye will hurt her. But at the same time, it would be wrong of me to not thank her. *sigh*
