Ooo pick me! I was never really into drama until about 6 months ago when I agreed to do the Folger's Theatre Shakespeare festival where schools from the Washington DC metro area perform excerpts from Shakespeare's plays. I thought I might as well give it a go seeing as I'd never done anything like it before. I loved every minute of it! The rehearsing, the inside-jokes on stage between myself and the other cast members, performing to all the other participants. It was great! And, for once I actually ENJOYED and appreciated Shakespeare! It was so much better than reading his work in a classroom where it seems SO boring.

I was Beatrice from Much Ado About Nothing (for anyone who is interested lol). But yeah, I'm totally looking for more drama-type things to do now. Not necessarily Shakespeare, something more modern might be fun. But yesm.

Yay for feeling a little more cultured!
