Has cancer, and if/when she gets into remission. she'll live only a couple more years.

Thats really sad to hear hun i'm very sorry. i think what you need to do now is enjoy the time yo have left with your mum and make memories that she or you won't forget. your in my thoughts at this difficult time . xxx

but is it better to know, than to not know? right now, she's trying to teach me how to cook certain things, and having me do most things around the house(cuz the chemo thinned her red blood cells enough that she doesn't have any energy to do those things), and seeing someone close to you go through cancer is like seeing them die in front of your eyes, and you can't do anything about it. I remember one time i told my bf that she probably won't live past my 20th b-day, and he got all upset and yelled, cuz he doesn't want it to be true. nobody wants it to be true, but it is. today, she went to the doctor's to get a cat-scan, to see if the 6 week period of chemo did anything to the cancer cells.

I know what its like
my mom battled cancer and chrones disease for a really long time.
people just don't understand until they are in the situation.
You just have to stay strong and make the most of your time with your mom

I am so sorry to hear that T_T. My aunt died of cancer a couple of years ago and I miss her so dearly! How is her condition now? I do hope things are getting better!
