Is writing things about life tragities bad?

Some of my poems are about life and some are things that im went through, is it bad to write about that stuff? i mean...i try to get a picture in peoples heads when they read my poems, but im not sure if im actually doing it right. what am i doing wrong? and what am i doing right? i would just like some advice so i can improve my work in poetry.

Well XAngelxOfxMusicX, writing poetry about what u went through is good motivation, alot of ppl write poetry about whats happend to them or about there life. so its not bad to write about what you have went through. or about your life.

Don't worry about whether it's wrong to write about certain topics. If you want to write about it, write about it. Your poetry should be for you alone when you write it anyway. We're privileged if you share it with us, whether it's a masterpiece or a generic upheaval of 1000 other poems.

it is atcually good to write about trageties...
and letting all the emotions out
