I am to write a Persuasive speech in a couple of weeks and i have no idea what topic i will talk about. Ive searched topics but i wont be able to talk for 8 minutes about them, and i dont care about them. Im not really into, for this speech, the problems of the world, or science stuff, or taxes, or abortion, or anything of the sort. Can anyone help me with a topic?

What is a topic that you are passionate about? What interest you?

Start from there then we can build on that.

So you can't write a speech about problems of the world, abortion or any other controversies, that is endemic to our world today...How apathetic of you!

Instead of asking a bunch of people in the internet, who wouldn't actually help you write the speech for you. Why not, and I'm just throwing it in there, think of it as an exam...

No one likes exams and many do not take joy in revising the subjects. But they do it anyways, because it is part of their course. Just like you have to..

Learn to live with it, write down each controversy on a piece of paper, place it in a hat, pick one piece out of the hat...And Presto, there you have your topic.

Next study, for your topic, and choose a side, for or against. Then think about how your going to enlighten and persuade using the facts handed to you and the opinions you formed from it

Its simple...Easy, and can be done in 20 minutes, why not try it now...K!

LOL. An exam, I freaking love it. (:

I loved speech, I mean I hated the whole giving them in front of everyone thing - because, at that time I was too worrried about what people thought of me. But, boy did I love writing them.

Why don't you pick something you really enjoy doing or hate with a passion. Build on from there, like - why and how you should or shouldn't like/do this thing and whatnot.

I did mine on religion in schools and society, and it wasn't the best topic, but it was something I really thought about a lot, and it got me an A. (:
