almost all of my poems are like that. i think there are... four of them that arent about suicide, cutting, or depression. try reading 'my cutting story' or 'giving in, at last'. those are two of my best poems. otherwise, you could just read all of mine, honestly, cuz that would be really cool!

try reading my poem Natural Choices it is based on at least some of the 12 steps in AA. From some of the things I have read cutters write, I am convinced it is an addiction.But not as easy for me to understand as drinking until you get sick. but many describe a short period of pleasure. I think there needs to be more information made available to clinicaly depressed teens on how to obtain the help they need. many feel that nobody cares

thank you Michaela, and you're right i shouldn't be fighting with her, she's cold hearted just like you said, and if it helps at all things are starting to look up for me, and the only reason i have depressing poems up on this site is well.... because of everything ive been through, buti wrote all those a long time ago, and i guess chelle doesn't realize that, and ive only tried to kill myself once, not like the hundered times my friends have. the fact of the matter is, it just upsets me when people like chelle just don't get the fact that not everyone lives a fairy tale life, i would kill to live a happy life, like chelle so ovbiously has. but so many people that ive crossed paths with give me the same attitude that chelle is giving me they give me shit about and ask, why am i so depressed when i have nothing to be sad about. when reallyi do maybe not to them but everyone looks at everything differently maybe chelle thinks my life isnt that bad, but thats only beacuse she isnt living my life so she doesnt know what its like so she has not right to go start judging me or other people who are depressed not until she has an idea on what true sadness is, and its true when chelle's life is starting to get rough no one will be there for her, only because she was never there for anyone else, but thank you again Michaela for what you said it was really sweet of and trust me your kindness wont go unappreciated, but chelle you're total lack of any heart, and your lack of consideration will forever be remembered by me and by everyone else who read what you said......and trust me the type of hurt will come back to in the worse way possible, its called kamra and believe me you'll get yours in the end

thats really sad that ur kindness does go unoticed at times, thats really not fair to you, you really have no idea how much you've helped though i know at times it may not seem much, but it really it, especailly to me or others like me, it helps give us back our hope, i know that sounds kinda corny, but you know what i mean lol, but really thank you again, i really do appericate it
