I like this older guy....

So i happen to like this older guy, hes not to much older than me. Im 18 and hes 20 almost 21. Is that bad? My mom doesnt really care anymore, but thats my mom. I wanted to know from people my age. My group of freinds are saying its kinda bad.
let me know if we would look bad.. i mean age wise of corse.

Oi. You're 18, so this is iffy. Me personally (I'm also 18), I wouldn't do it.

Here's what gets me. I read in your profile that you've never had a real boyfriend. Older guys who are interested in younger girls are generally looking for someone who is easy to manipulate, and if you're as inexperienced as your profile says, then you would be the perfect candidate for this despite the fact that you are of legal age.

If you choose to pursue this, then be careful. It's hard to judge when someone is being sincere, and many young girls are fooled. Just keep that in mind and don't let yourself be pressured. Also remember that if your friends get too upset about this after they've met him, they are probably seeing something that you aren't, because he has successfully disillusioned you into seeing something better than he is. You need to follow your heart. if it feels right for you, then who can change your heart? your friends may not like it, but you feel how you do. i mean..its not illegal for you guys to date or anything, so i dont see anything wrong with it. when i was 16 i (almost) dated a 20 year old...
