This amazing guy

I met this amazing guy on here, but he lives in PA, and I am willing to drive there to see him. My friends say that I shold follow my heart and go with it, while my family says that I am wasting my time on a guy that is going to cheat on me anyway because he is so far away. I think I am doing the right thing and dating him. What do all of you think?

Hmm well it seems a little to risky to me. I agree with your parents, you dont really KNOW this guy, he could be someone a ot different. And though i dont know you and all, i still dont want you to get hurt.

Driving all the way to PA to meet someone you don't really know, I would definetely not go alone or take it too lightly, but in the end the decision is yours.

I'm glad for all of your respectful comments. We are still dating but we are going to wait a while berfore actually meeting. I just don't want to get into something that I KNOW i will regret for the rest of my life, so thanks again.

Everyone says that long distance relationships arent worth it and they'll never work out. but im basically in the same situation, I also met this amazing guy online and we've been 'talking' or 'dating' for two and half months already and almost everyone tells me whats the point to it since we dont live close. we're both so very excited becuz we're finally going to see each other in less than a week to celebrate our birthdays

so i really think you should def. give this guy a chance and give the relationship a chance. you guys should know what you mean to each other and work hard toward making the relationship stronger. i never thought i could deal with a long distance relationship, but so far im perfectly okay becuz he means so much to me.
