Love or luxury?

My sociology teacher asked my class today which we'd prefer...Either A) A big house with like 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms and many expensive cars and you know you'd be taken care of for the rest of your life so you could always have those kind of things and to be with someone who you just liked somewhat or B) To live in a 90sq ft apartment with the love of your life.

I was supprised that 95% of my class chose B...(Of cource I was one of them...But I was just wondering what you guys would choose...would you be more A) Material or more B) Romantic?

I would pick the second one (Answer B)

You have your whole life to become rich. Life is about love, without it there wouldn't be life.

I would pick B...I wouldnt be happy living in a huge house and not share it with the person I love...

I would definitely like to think I'd choose B. But I've never had to make the choice. It seems as though lots of people, if faced with the actual decision to choose either mundane comfort or rapturous poverty... might feel inclined to choose the former. After all, how often do we trade in those things we really love in life (careers, dreams) for the convenience of a more stable luxury?
