Chocolat Mousse

Okay this is a stupid post but I need to know and I can't find it on the internet(that works)..but does anyone know a simple recipe for choclate mousse that actually becomes chocoate mousse? Because for French class we had to make a french cuisine and well..see I found this recipe from the internet that had 3 ingrediants to make chocolate mousse..and well..it didn't work.It came out kinda...runny and it wasn't thick at all..does anyone know a really good way to make it?

Just take store bought choco pudding and store bought whipped cream *in the tub ONLY* and mix the two together.

1 part whipped cream
1 1/2 parts mousse.
