Simon and Schuster Publishing?

I've been putting togethr a collection of poetry that i think i might wan to get published. I know im young but i thought i might try it.
All my favorit books are fr. Simon and Schuster and so to me, that seems like the one I want to send the book into first to see if they'll accept it.

Is this a good idea?
Can anyone give me any ideas or tips or anything.

Prepare for rejection: Not to get you down but to prevent you from getting your hopes too high, you get that? Most famous writer's are rejected constantly before finding a place.
