Health question

I have had this small pain in my lower left abdomen for some time and it just started actually hurting, hurting. it feels like a ball that is being squeezed between my rib cage and hip, which is why when sitting i cant lean to my left. i dont believe it to be gas or anything. any ideas?

If it was in your lower left then it would not be your appendix (your appendix is located in your low right)

It can be a tumor or something to that nature, I would seek professional help (see a doctor) about this.

I think he has the right of it. your appendix is on the right side, so why would you get pain on the left?

I'm not sure, I've never had a problem with mine so I wouldn't know. All I know is that it is located on your right low side (in my opinion it wouldn't make sense to hurt on the left side unless the appendix bursted, which in that case I believe you only have a few hours to live if I am not mistaken.)

All-in-all I advise you to seek professional help for I am not a doctor nor is anyone here that has answered at the moment.

I think i am going to wait a couple more weeks, unless the pain keeps increasing like it is. i dont want it to be anything, of course, but mainly becasue i am to go into the army in july and i think if it is something serious then that messes that up. though i am not going to be stupid about it.

Unless my appendix is twisted around to my left side then id agree.

If you appendix bursted it would also have that effect, and if it bursted if I am not mistaken, you only have a few hours to live, they would have to put you in surgery right away.

The pain isnt unbearable, just an annoyance as of now.

It's probably a cyst or a tumor. It could also be this other thing....can't remember the name...but it's actually quite dangerous and can screw you up big time if you don't deal with it soon enough. Get it checked.
