    Anymore questions?

  • Italian Stallion

The Tasteless: My own short/independent films...lol

Now if you are talking about films that actually got released to the public, then I would have to think about that a little deeper.

  • Italian Stallion

The Tasteless: I actually haven't had time to do any recent films, the older films I've done are more amature looking. The skills I have now are semi-professional (or at least my equipment is...lol)

There are so many independent films that are great movies and were done very well, to name just a few:

    Pulp Fiction
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
    The Usual Suspects
    Psycho
Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
    To Kill a Mockingbird
    Resevoir Dogs
    Amadeus
    Fargo
    Platoon
    The Graduate
    The Terminator

And one of the more recent films: No Country For Old Men.

and the list goes on and on.

  • Italian Stallion

The Tasteless: I like a bit of everything. I like to learn new ways of taking video, writing, effects, etc. So naturally I like those types of films.

Short films, again there are many, but not as many good ones in my opinion.

A more recent short film that I happened to see that peeked interest in me was, "Cashback" The storyline to me was very interesting.

Another interesting storyline was, "The Science of Love"

There is another one I saw a long time ago, but I forgot the name of it, it's about 2 guys that make a time machine in their garage or something to that effect.

I must say although a lot of short films are not all that well done, the story structure is pretty good, if they could bring it to the next level of film making, I think a lot of short films would do a lot better.

The Tasteless: No, it wasn't a comedy from what I can remmember about it, it was more serious. If I remmeber the name I'll let you know.

  • Italian Stallion

Liz: Yes, it's been a while indeed. Always making me ponder...lol

Although this may seem like a difficult question, it is actually relativly easy. Naturally fire goes against gravity due to the simple fact that heat rises. A flame is made up of gases which are much hotter and not as heavy as the air, which causes the flame to move up "against gravity"

P.S. You must come up with a harder question than that. ;)

Jeez 5 threads already, isn't it getting old...Especially certain mods plus one member using your ol' Ask threads?

  • Italian Stallion

Noir: I guess people just have questions that they want answered. For the most part, my threads are all serious questions, not questions like, "So Joe, how was your day?" ... etc.

I can't help it if others copy my ideas, I was the first to start this, and well others followed my idea. If my thread is getting old, then explain why I've gotten so many questions (that are pretty vaild questions for the most part)

  • Noir

Valid but I wouldn't call them serious, and from what I've seen Sherry is the only person to continually ask you questions...Am I wrong in this thinking?

  • Italian Stallion

Noir: Ok, so I might of used the wrong word to descibe the questions, but like I said they are move vaild questions than a lot of the other "Ask" threads.

As for Sherry, yes she is one of the only people that is contunually asking me questions, however; the end result is still the same. Regardless of who asks what, I am still answering questions wheather they be about me or about someone being sexaually abused and how to cope with it. In many cases, I have given pretty vaild answers for people in which I've gotten praised for since it had helped that particualar person.

I am not going to go on and on about my thread and how it's been duplicated by others over and over.

I am simply doing this (the thread) for an outlet for people to ask questions wheather they be a valid question or not. I don't allow ramble back and forth on my threads, this is strictly a Q&A thread.

  • Noir

But my posts are questions to which you answer...? Lol..

But all in all I don't think we're rambling, if we were, I'd pm'ed ya...Don't you think?

  • Italian Stallion

Noir: That wasn't directed towards you or anyone else. That was just a statement that I made about my threads to make somewhat of a point.

Anyways, I am not here to discuss the actual matter of this thread, I am here to answer questions. If you have a valid question to ask, please do so.

Ok, here is a VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION.

I asked britt this same thing

according to how you answer this is wether i commit suicide or not ( JK JK JK JK )

What would you do for a klondike bar?

  • Italian Stallion

Patrick Murphy: All ready had that question in a previous thread, so here is my answer:

    Well that ruins my fun....

now i cant ask the real question i wished to ask.

Because i was hoping you would answer, then when you answerd i woulda followed it up with a quetsion.

Now how does this relate to yourself?

THen you would answer this question, and when you answered it i would write a descriptive response like this!

"People dont realize but even though when they resond to simple answers there is always a backround behind it, a reason for this writing. It can be deep or it can be simple , as for me i would simply say "i would go to the store with 50 cents" exclaming that i do what it takes to get it done! while somone else might be like Huh? why? when they are simply saying "what is the point to stupid questions.""

But since this question was already asked....

Kinda ruins the whole thing t.t

  • Italian Stallion

Patrick Murphy: This is kind of funny that you point this out. To quote you, "...as for me i would simply say "i would go to the store with 50 cents" exclaming that i do what it takes to get it done!"

That is almost exactly what I said in my reply.

As for your follow on that question, it was very well thought out, and as you stated, many people don't see the connection between simple questions and what the responce really is a meaning of.

  • Italian Stallion

The Tasteless: How the hell should I know? That is not something that people just come out with and say, "Hey Joe, you are my most favorite person." lol that would be kind of an odd conversation.

If I am, then that is pretty cool I guess, if I'm not then so be it. It doesn't matter to me really since it doesn't have a major impact on my life wheather or not I am liked or not. I am who I am and that is it.

  • Italian Stallion

The Tasteless: lol I did clearly answer the question. That was my answer, it wouldn't change even if the you revised the question as you did above. That's just the way I think, and does it really matter if you are someones favorite or not? It is not a personality contest, it's life and it should be treated as just that.

  • Italian Stallion

The Tasteless: I would imagine others do have some interesting answers to that question.

The mind works in many different mysterious ways, and to fully analysis the output of it is extreamly hard for many to see and or understand the meaning behind it.

Music means a lot to you, so who inspires you the most to write and create music? And what does music really mean to you?

  • Italian Stallion

Ian: I've loved music ever since I was young. I've play many instruments through out the years: trombone, piano, guitar, drums, etc.

When I write music, it is usually based on my life or something that has happened to me. I like to make music and songs personal, that way the listener or reader can really have a feel for it and make it there own if they can relate. Emotional writes about love is what I usually write or compose about, but you should've guess that just by looking at my poems.

So really I don't have any one person that inspires me, it can be many people or just one, it all depends on the timing and what is happening within my life at the moment.

Music is when the soul connects with the heart and you hear meledolic sounds resenate from the flowing air. Voices protruding out as though trying to touch the soul of the lingering music in the atmosphere. When connected and joined as one, the beauty within truly shows for both have been mended and live on for enternity.

So Joe, what do you think about this?

I came to the conclusion that the government is raising the prices on gas to solve the obesity problem in the US. Think about it........People who make minimum wage are working only to put gas in their car. Some people are already debating whether to pay their bills or save money for gas to go to work. So- if the prices get any higher, which they will (or so I've heard). This will force people to find other means of transportation (walk, bike, bus, car pooling and so on and so on). And groceries, that is a whole other story humming the same tune. In result people will be forced to lose weight either by starvation or for the workout they get trying to go to work/school.

For regular the gas prices are at $4.07 here in Oakland, CA. I just put in $20 and got a little over a quarter tank.

I have a question. why does a girl make you break up with her best friend just so you two can go out, then when you do that she says "I don't have the same feelings as you"

  • SeLiNa MaRiE

I think that it is great that you are volunteering yourself to give people advise. My question is:

What inspired you to start this thread in the first place?

  • Italian Stallion

Patience: This is a great topic, actually I've been doing a lot of research on this the past couple of months.

Gas prices will keep on rising, Oil prices are at an all time high at $125 a barrel (crude oil that is). Here on the east side of the US, gas prices are estimated to reach over $4 by the summer.

Food prices are also going up as you mentioned, we are actually being limited a certain supply of food. Sams club as well as Walmart have been limited the amount of rice they are able to sell, which ultimitly raises the price of the product.

Recently I've been doing research on "the electric car" Do you have any idea when that was created? Why it was created? And why it was took off the market? Well I do, after reading lots and lots of infomation on the subject.

The electric car was introduced in California because of the smog problem they have. I believe it was the health board of CA passed a law stating that 10% of all cars had to be emissions free. And there plan was rise the percentage ever year and eventually make all cars emissions free.

So, GM was the leader in this whole program, they created a team to make an electric car, they marketed, and the "leased" it, that is right "leased" not sold. Then other car companies started to produce an electric car, everything was going as planed. But the car companies looked at everything and figured they were digging themselves a hole by stating all the cars on the roads that are gas powered are dirt...buy an electric car (they basically would lose money is what it came down too) So they pulled all the cars off the street when the leases were up and they crushed them all.

Now it is not just the car companies falut in diminishing the electric car, it is the oil companies and the government and the list goes on and on. Oil companies would lose money so they bought a share of the business that made the battery for the cars and destroyed the company. The government didn't support them, they said that it would be worse than a regular car since we would have to find other means of power (coal instead of oil) which would make more pollution. etc, etc.

The electric car was on the market all the way up to 2001, but no one really heard anything about it, it was very low key.

Now, there are smaller companies that are begining to make electric cars again, e.g. Tesla's Roadster.

We have the resorces and ablities to make a more eco friendly environment the would actually safe us money as well, we just have to be aware of what is out there for us to use.

CrimsonLips: Someone came to me via the PM system and asked me for advice. I simply gave my advice and she was pleased with the outcome, she told me that I should make a thread to give advice because I gave good advice. So I gave it a try and produced these threads, and that is how I started this thread and why I started it.

I've been away from this for a little bit, but any more questions?

  • Italian Stallion

James: Well technically I do have the power (except for the coding aspect of it, which I am working on trying to get access to) to change stuff on this site, it just takes a while seeing as I have to wait for it to be implemented. As far as what I would change, there is a few important things I would take care of first and then some other stuff, I am not naming anything for I don't want it going around that those would be implemented, etc.

My favorite beverage? I would have to say it is water, it hydrates you and keeps you healthy as well as alive. Now on the other side of things I'd say some good Rum or a Beer would be just fine.
