It really depends on the person..I am going to admit that a few years ago this guy I knew got his pierced and that was me first impression..but it depends...

I've never rly heard of a guy piercing his belly button but i don't necessarily think it means he's gay. many gay and straight guys have their ears pierced and i think its pretty much the same idea.

I have to change my edit. Anyways, I truly think I would see the person as somewhat not so manly. Hopefully they wouldn't take offense to it. But I just cannot picture a dude with a belly button piercing without being a tad girly.

Well if all other signs point to the direction of gayness, yeah i would assume he was.

i mean if his voice is kind of squeaky and girly, and he's just a little bit too fashionable...

but off of one piercing I couldnt assume a person was gay, they have to have a combination of stereotypical gay qualities.

Yeah, there's alot that me and my friends consider gay for a guy...

1. Having a tatoo around his belly button
2. Squeaky/girly/high pitched voice
3. Tight pants (not in a grunge/skateboarder style)
4. Teeth that are TOO perfect.... that's just creepy.

But we've never talked about a guy having a belly ring... lol Kinda funny if you think about it.

Generally, though I'm no expert, I think being sexually attracted to your own sex and gender exclusivey indicts you're gay...not a navel piercing.
