Who Loves Greek Mythology

well In my english class we have been learning about Greek Mythology and I am starting to love it.
so I was just wondering if anyone else likes it?

My cousin was a big Latin buff and I used to love learning greek mythology with her, such great stories.

My Favorite one is The one with Aracnid and Athene
and the one that is like Romeo and Juleit

I know like the whole Actacnid and athena one by heart

I love Romano/Greco mythology. I took a class on it in highschool. The teacher was a complete... er, I'll leave that to your imagination, but I loved the stories. The Iliad was one of my favorites, from the treachery of Paris, the death of Hectar, to the death of Achilles. I must say I hated the movie Troy though. :\

only cuz orlando bloom is in it and its the only movie that I like that has brad pitt in it its the only movie that makes him look hott

I just didn't like it.
The armour is all wrong, the number of troops is too large, the walls of Troy are to large and extravagent, the death of Achilles was wrong, the Trojans are portrayed as good, the Greeks bad whereas in real life they would be shades of gray. I dunno, I like a certain realism in movies. I don't like movies to stray to far from the truth (or in this case, from the Iliad).

I agree Alex, there are just some expectations the movie did not meet and believe it or not lol Some of us need more than a "hottie" to make it a good movie.

I do love mythology though, that's why I took latin all through high school lol

I love all Mythology! My favorite is Irish, but Classical is great. Probably my favorite legend is that of Cupid and Psyche.

do you say it like Aphrodite and the E is silent
or do you say it like Aphrodite with the E saying its name?

And Cupid is Aphrodite's son

and speaking of movies that have no relistic in them talk about the cartoon version of Herculies

I read it when I was 13, and sadly the ideal of a hedonistic selfish war loving beauty obsessed society and drunk adulterous humanoids placed on the pedestal as gods doesn't exist...

I do really like all the myths whether they were greek or relate to another ancient civilistaions.
