**Lied to me**

Alright so my bf goes to a different school then me but he has come to two of my homecomings and two proms....last year he couldnt go to his prom though because he was only a sophmore, but being a junior this year he was eligible. So my prom was last weekend and his was this past friday and i asked him on numerous occasions if he was going and i told him that he should becuase it was such a nice hall but he said he wasnt going becuase it was too expensive and he had to work anyways...His best friend jordan who just happens to be my best friends ex was invited to dominics prom by some girl so he was going and dominic knew this. Friday night i talked to Dominic at around 5:15 and he told me that he was at work. That was the last i heard from him all night. The next morning my friend ashley picked Jordan up from work and throughout the conversation he told her that he had last talked to Dominic the night before...at prom. He finally called me when he got off of work at 5:30 and i lightly asked him how work was the night before and he said that it was rough and busy that night and when i asked him why he didnt call me he simply said that they got him drunk at work and he came home and fell asleep but when i asked him if he went to prom he said no all he did was hang out with some people from prom after work but that was it...so he kindof changed his story. I didnt really mention the situation anymore since then because i planned on confronting him in person today when he was to come over. Out of no where though he texted me this morning and said that we could do WHATEVER i wanted to do and when i told him to decide he decided on the Ipic theater. Which is a very expensive movie theater with a bowling alley, a bar and they serve you dinner as you watch a digetal screened movie on love seat couches...yes very expensive and when i mentioned it two weeks ago when it first opened he said that it was too expensive. My friends and i believe that even though he wont admit to lieing to me, he knows that he messed up and now he is basically kissing my butt to make up for it...but ofcourse i had to ask you guys what you think about. One thing that i do need to tell you i thought about today is...
*If he has lied about a simple prom...what else has he lied about...

*If he is lieing now...he will lie when i leave for boot camp right?

if you love him a lot have some faith and trust in him. he might not do it again.

I just got out of a really tough relationship where all he did was lie, cheat, beat and crap me like that. So I think once they start they will keep doing it.

Yea i did confront him and i really dont know what to think right now. He took me to the movies last night and we had so much fun and at the end of the night i brought it up and he wasnt even really fazed he was just like. " take this number down and call my boss, my sister (who he lives with) and my guy jordan and ask them yourself since you dont want to believe me....and he also finally said he loved me after waiting a year!

I think yall should learn to really trust one another. Let him know that yu care but also give him reason to wanna be with yu. Tell him to let yu know when he is gonna go out because yu are just concerned about him. Give him something peaceful to come home to. but when yu find out he has lied to yu, don't let it ride because he will continue to do it and think yu have no feelings about it. I hope this helps.

Yea i understand what you all are saying and i really do appreciate your advice i really is helping and that is exactly why i asked for your advice in the first place.

He told me a couple nights before that he loved me but i didnt really know what he ment because he always told me that he had love for me but that he wasnt in love with me and i just asked him about the night after the incident and he confessed that he ment that he was in love with me...i dont know what to really do with this sitaution at all. Some people are telling me to just leave it alone or it will just get worse but i really dont want him to think that he can just get away with this either...

Ah some people will tell you to call even though they know it is just going to confirm their lie, I know I did that to my mother on numerous occasions lol Did you ask Jordan directly? Or only go by word of mouth? It seems like a silly thing to lie about unless there is some underlying problem he is not willing to confront you on. Love is action not words, buying you dinner after being caught in a lie? If that's what smooths it over for you, only you can say. As a general rule when something doesn't feel right, it's not.
