Poems into Songs??

Alot of my friends think its wierd that i always turn my poems into songs. so im just wonderin if any of you people do the same??

Not often, but I see nothing wrong with it. The only poem I ever made into a song is called 'Rose' and it's a dark poem I wrote for some music on the net. It eventually became a song. Strange, I never meant it to........

that's awesome if u turn poems into songs! i'm a singer, so I've often tried to write songs, but I find I'm better at writing poems. maybe in time my songs will become better, since I'll have more experiences to write from, but if u can write awesome poem/songs now, that's great!
