Prison Of Poetry

I stopped writting poetry years ago because it was making me depressed, writting about everything that had happened to me and now that I have started writting again I feel the early stages of it but my work has been complimented alot.

Should I forsake my health for my happiness?

It's an open discussion really, I am seeing if it is worth baring the soul and creating beauty if it causes momentary pain

If you truly love writing, than maybe you ahould balance everything. don't spend ever moment thinking of your poetry, instead wait until true inspiration hits you. I'm the same way. I've been in and out of severe depression for years now. But i write them out. now as for you. i dont noe your situation. but i know that anyone who loves poetry, and has such an amazing gift should truly keep writing. but don
t write about just sepressing stuff. instead write about happy times in your life, of all the times you've smiled, or have made someone smile, there has to be at least some happiness.

keep writing, but remember that your health is always important. balance out everything. & in the end, im hoping everything turns out good for you.
