*Triolet is a poetic form consisting of only 8 lines. Within a Triolet, the 1st, 4th, and 7th lines
repeat, and the 2nd and 8th lines do as well. The rhyme scheme is simple: ABaAabAB, capital
letters representing the repeated lines.

Closer

Never spoken a word,
Only shared a glance,
Never told a secret,
Only taken chance,

School days go so fast,
Rehearsals, even quicker,
I wanted the show to last,
Just to watch you sing Mika,

But wishes don't come true,
Until luck has come your way,
And this week was my lucky week,
I can now gladly say,

In a day or two, everything just changed,
Suddenly we were closer, in so many ways...

I smiled at you, you smiled at me,
We text each other constantly...

Got a few things sorted out,
Like feelings and such,
But you'll never know
That I love you so much...

Because the crowds began to disperse
And the shows were at an end,
And we may never see each other,
Ever again...

The rain suddenly fell
From the clouds in the sky
And I decided they were weeping,
For us, they did cry...

Stretching the limit of a breaking heart...

~ This poem was written after a show that I'm in called Gangshow finished. The guy I really, really liked went there, so this poem means a lot to me...

Stanza 1: we never actually talked face to face, instead we communicated by exchanging glances on random occasions, and we didn't tell secrets to each other and then we took the chance to know each other...

Stanza 2: the rehearsals started in about March and it only seems like yesterday that I first took a proper look at him... and he had to sing the first lines of 'lollypop' by Mika, that was cute as until the girls started fighting over him -.- ...

Stanza 3: none of my wishes or dreams ever came true, but I got lucky this week, I won an Oscar on Sunday 13th July, and then on Wednesday 16th he asked his younger sister for my number and text me.

Stanza 4: we text each other heaps and got to know each other a bit more, even though we still hadn't spoken in person, we were suddenly closer

Stanza 5: we kind of looked at each other a lot and we text absolutely all day

Stanza 6: we sorted out our feelings, well, kind of... he knew I had a crush on him, but he wanted to know why. So that was sorted out. But he would never know how much, because gangshow was beginning to end.

Stanza 7: the show was in its final week, and he wasn't sure if he was coming back next year.

Stanza 8: it rained a bit in the last few days...

Stanza 9: everything was over, but we're closer then before because we are going to meet up this weekend, but we're further apart because we won't see each other as much, and it really does stretch the limits...
