IMPORTANT: U.S. Savings Bonds [Info??]

If anyone knows about US Savings Bonds (I-Bonds)....

Every birthday, or like Christmas, my aunt gives me and my brother 50$ US Savings Bonds that she wants us to use to pay for college. I understand that you have to be 18 and they have to be a year old until you can cash them, but I'm not 18 yet and I need to come up with 550 dollars in less than 3 days. So I'm trying to find out if it's possible that your parents can cash them in for you if you're not 18 yet, or even if my Aunt can because her name is on the bonds too, as with mine as well?

It's pretty important. I need the money. D:

For what?

Does it matter why I need it?

Let's put it this way..... If I don't, I won't graduate high school next year.

I meant that they don't know if they can cash it for me or anything. I just wanted to find out as soon as possible before driving to my bank a half hour away from my house. But it doesn't matter anymore, 'cause I decided not to do summer school. I'll just do credit recovery.

I wish i could be more help to you as i have a bond myself, im sure you can get money out because i was asking my mum and i remember her saying yes then some thing els after that.... this was like 2 years ago now ^____^

Well, I wish I could do the same, haha. But my family is poor; literally. And I'm not saying that like some other people do. We recently lost our house two months ago, and the least I can do for my family is graduate high school next year. But yet they make it so you can't even AFFORD to do so. I hate this corrupt system.
