meh, people should just realize that governments and common folk aren't the same thing. And in any case, generalization have a tendency to be wrong most of the time. Spark, if you PM me with references to specific comments that bother you, i can check them out

Sean Allen: I agree with you, that government do not represent the people and there should be a solution to war. For example Iraq: Duel between George W. Bush and Sadam Husein - no victims :)

I don't mean to follow the trend of posting what someone above you said-but here goes!!
    Quotes by James Daron Starr

"I am an American, and yes I can speak for America, for all Americans can, it's our right and passion to do so, are you saying that I can not speak for America?"

I would like it if you didn't speak for me thank you very much because of your changing attitudes, and styles of writing I may add, lead me to believe that you will type whatever you believe that one wants to hear. So yes, I at least am saying that you can speak for America when you become a representitive or consul or something like that-but you may not speak for American's if I am included in that because who are you to say that your words are what is in our minds.

    "How old are you, really?"

You might want to check yourself on that one...it's the maturity level that counts, not the number.

"Who are you to say that I am not American, this is very racist, you make that very clear."

I don't think a race was mentioned anywhere...hmm...nope. And to answer your first question-I am an American-that's who I am to say that you can not speak for American's with me included.

"This incitement or your proclamation states that if an American works abroad he is no longer an American?"

Where did he say that??? He just asked you not to speak for him because he could apologize for himself!!! He didn't mention anything about origins or locations or anything like that!!!

"How dare you. You really should be careful before you make such assumptions, without gathering your facts,"

Well I should say the same to you.

(Sorry...but the things James said kinda hit home with me too so I decided to answer him...although I know this was Addressed to Killer of Time, I agree with what he said...and I wanted to put up my view points on the whole matter...Thnx!)

Well you would not believe the length of the response I just wrote. It took about 20 minutes. All of which I was being yelled at by my father to get off of the computer. And then, well let's just say I'm sure you can guess what happened when I pushed submit-because quite obviously-there is no very long debate above this post!!!!! The whole thing got wiped out-but I have to go to bed (school in the morning...lol) So I guess I will try again tomorrow. I just thought this would be a nice place to bring up the whole longer logged in time to Janis. It needs to be longer!!!!!!!

Well thanks for listening to me complain...ERr.

Wow, the topic took a very strange turn. Spark I was wondering if you could actually give me the link to the thread so that I could edit out the bad stuff.
