18th Birthday

Hey everyone!
ermm well i really need peoples ideas on what i should do for my 18th, i kind of want to make it memorable not like other people i know who just went to the pub to celebrate i would just like to do something different to everyone else and if you have any ideas please say lol

I turned 18 last year, didn't do something special but I wish I had. If you want to do something special, I say go to a couple of random places you've never been to with your friends, like a mini journey round where you live, look through places you don't expect to find something in.

^ A very good idea. Personally I'd just go to the mall and goof around with my buddies :] Hopefully you can be a little more creative than that lol

Just an idea, but me and my mate used to do this thing we called 'Random Day'.

We'd go in to town and each have five or ten pounds to spend and then we'd seperate from each other and go and spend that money on presents foreach other, but the rules are that you can only spend it in discount stores (pound shops etc) or charity shops and you've to buy things which can be worn or carried(clothing, glasses, feather dusters etc).

You then meet up and give your mate your stuff, and visa versa, and you both have to dress up and wear whatever you've been given for the rest of the day.

It's just a giggle. Me and my mate used to do it to cheer each other up and then we'd go sit in the cinema wearing hard hards, dust goggles and dust masks, with stripey feather dusters, leapard print silk scarves, wigs, fluffy gloves and funny handbags...that or we'd go to the pub.

The more mates the more its funny really. Just an idea anyway.

You see. What I amdoing is a little more girly.. Or maybe not. I am renting out a hall and having a masquerade ball. The suits. The dresses. The masks.. The whole deal

Why not have a blowout party!? most of my friends are older and thats what they did for their 18th. they just threw it in their backyard, did some karoke, and etc.

for my 16th im having it at a pavillion at the park. im going to have volleyball and hopscotch and water balloons and bbq and all that fun stuff.

I had a HUGE party for my 16th. About 200 people came to my house and just rocked out. lol Lots of Harleys and classic cars and rock music. I had nothing to do with the motorcycles or cars, that was mostly my dad's doing (they were his friends). There was a live band and tons of food. Ah, it was amazing. lol Now I have to start planning for my 17th (it's in 4 months!!) :D

what did you finally do??

I remember my 18th birthday. I had a meal out with my family and that was it. You don't get presents anymore, unless you're spoilt or something. Actually, I stopped getting presents by my 16th.
