Music, life, help.

I've got this voice, and I've got these fingers, and ever since I was a kid, I always thought that they were to be my ticket out of the mundane future that everyone assumes I'm headed for. I'm no Idol or Star, but I just know that that's where I belong- in a world of water stains and coffee cups, old microphones, candles on tables.

Maybe it's all romanticism, but I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a route to take in order to brake into the music business.. maybe a few names or something.

I would so much appreciate what you guys have to say.

Take it one step at a time, start small and work your way up, start playing at a local coffee shop or something and look for competitions in your area then go for the big stuff.

Sadly the arts are beautiful but they don't often make a living for the artist. Usually artists become famous, or their works at least, after they die.
I still encourage you to go into the arts but just be smart about it hun.
