I believe that the person who wrote this has had a lot of problems with relationships. He or she feels that the only truth one can gain from a feeling is if one has made that feeling up. True feelings are never really true are they...they change with time. As you fall in love and then fall out of love. Or you hate someone but then it turns out you like them. It is difficult to say though. I would like to see the full poem so I can have a better understanding of the whole.

Try this: when you're in love, you're blind; when you're out of love, you're wicked. Something like that.
