Sometimes I feel,
as though I'm alone.
But then I realize,
we're lost in a world of our own.

I try so hard,
but I cannot win.
So I try once more,
and again & again.

I can't give up,
that's not my style.
Even if I know,
I must fake my smile.

I won't be broken,
you won't do it to me.
I'll be okay,
just wait & see.

My life will go on,
even without you.
Read my words carefully,
because they're all true.

Sometimes I feel,
as though I'm alone.
But then I realize,
we're lost in a world of our own.

I've moved on,

I thought it would work,
but the relationship was lame.

I can't take this,
not anymore.
There's no possible way,
I'll be coming back for more.

Now that it's over,
I'm glad we're apart.
I've met someone new,
and I won't change my heart.

If You Look Harder You Might See.

Deep down inside me,
I withold countless feelings -
That I'm hesitant to express.
For the feeling of rejection is alarming.

But, boy.. if you look harder,
You might just see, a girl who likes you.
Someone who would do anything in her power,
Just to be with you for a second.

She's not despondent,
Oh no, she just likes everything about you.
Your ravishing smile gives her butterflies,
And your charisma makes her fall for you harder.

If you would just give her the consolation,
The feeling of being safe,
Maybe she would open up to you,
But until then, these feelings remain concealed.

She will not open up her heart to someone,
like you - someone who doesn't know her well.
The fear of rejection is the only thing on her mind,
She is scared to fall for you -
But if you just look harder, you may just see -
A considerate girl who just wants to be with you.

Love Isn't Imaginary.

Today - all around the world,
everyone is trying to find love.
Of all the people who have discovered it thus far,
will tell you and I, love isn't imaginary.

In fact, love is the farthest from imaginary.
Love is so substanial and felt by many.
Anybody who falls in love,
enjoys the adventure.
Unfortunetly, some hearts get crushed -
which leaves a uncongenial feeling.
But, entirely - it's quite enduring.

Love can be articulate,
or felt in numerous ways.
There's always a special way of showing
affection towards the one person you love.

Such romance can also become very intimate.
It is the one thing in life,
that most people are lucky to comprehend,
whether they find it instantly, or slowly.

Bottom line,
love is not fake nor imaginary by any means.

Among routine and casualty

RESERVE: BEYOND THE REALMS OF REALITY

Every colour of the rainbow

Red is my heart in which I feel
Love to the world around
Orange is the sun to give
Warmth to the air and ground

Yellow are sunrays that fill
The world with joy and laughter
Green are trees that always are so still
And will stand always thereafter

Azure is sky in which I see
No clouds, no rain, no sorrow.
Blue is the ocean filled with glee
Always: today, tomorrow.

Violet is captivating milky twilight,
The beauty of the world:
The sun and stars, day and night
Are always in my soul.

Red is the heart in which I love
The world around me
But most of all I love with glow
Your face I now can't see

Orange is the laughter that we had
Those days I reminisce
Yellow were out smiles that
Were full of love and bliss

Green was the field where we danced
To the music of the sun
Azure were your eyes when you glanced
At me and said "Goodbye"

Blue was my heart when I waved
My hand and saw your face
The one last time, but I have saved
In memories your last embrace

Violet was a flower in my hand
That you gave me goodbye
And rain has passed already, and
I look up in the sky.

The rainbow now reminds me of

That it's still mine, this purity gilded with gold.
But I know the truth, it's unshakeably clear:

It cries out in yearning, yet you hear it not;
Nor have you acknowledged the pain that you've wrought.
In your hands lies everything that I've ever known,
For the object that lingers where truth stands alone,

Used to be so complete, heart was pure and light
Only now left feeling low, confused and contrite
Wondering what happened to passion we used to feel
Used to trust, but now emotions must be concealed

Days are long, nights are filled with endless pain
How can love still be here yet tinged with disdain?

Reminiscing about wen we thought our love would last
Ironic how things can become complicated so fast
How can I love someone so manipulative and unkind
Trying without success to erase you from my mind

Truth be told, still love you more than you know
It's just that my emotions I no longer let show
Deep down we're both aware you still have my heart
Funny that I once thought we would never part

Gave all of my trust but it was all in vain
For you left me all alone and crying in pain
Wondering when it'll stop, this endless misery
Though deep down know you're no good for me

My world once technicolour till you painted it black
Just another liar and cheat, yet still want you back
Say that you love me but we can't be together
Guess it was another lie when you promised forever

Takes all of my energy just to get through each day
How did I let myself become another heartbroken cliche
Wondering now if love we shared you ever did value

Now when thinking of you, down cascade the tears

Rays of light used to reflect off vivid stained glass --
A burning beacon that shone so brightly in the dark,
Dimmed 'til I couldn't see the shadows of the past.

Good times washed away like faded watercolors --
Gone with an abruptness that leaves a sad longing,
For a newfound future that no longer shimmers.

An empty slate, shattered memories of before --
So paint it black, just paint everything black,
Because some things don't matter anymore.

Beyond The Realms Of Reality

Step through the incandescent light,
of a door that holds a magical place.
Blinded by a world drenched in color,
outlined with silk ribbons and lace.

Trees engulfed in apricot-emerald,
the sky painted in violet streaks,
a horizon torched in an orange glow,
like a sunset that goes on for weeks.

Rose petals ride on a tepid breeze,
bringing the scent of your childhood.
A past that was cut short of it's time,
one that you never quite understood.

A thick ribbon of river slices through,
it's gentle rhythm tranquil and steady.
A boat floats idle off to the far side,
waiting patiently, when you're ready.

Blades of grass turn to butterflies,
with just a slim touch from your hand.
Orange-blue fire doesn't bite or sting,
from candles burning in the sand.

Blossoms spill down like raindrops,
to melt and sparkle in your hair.
A lullaby is playing in the distance,
one that your mother use to share.

Eat the berries that have fallen,
and you'll never be allowed to leave,
but who would possibly want to,
when you can be blissful and naive?

So open your heart and step inside,
reveal your desires to this realm,
dance with the fairies, twirling around,
let the fantasy and illusion overwhelm.
