Constructive view on poem and quotes

What you like about the site and what you think doesnt work. Why are you here in a nutshell (Please be careful as I dont want this to erupt into arguing or bitching or anything thats going to get too personal in a negative way)

For me it was a place to come and talk about my problems because I didnt have an outlet. I enjoyed trying to help others out and just being there as someone who cared and would listen in return. I made a few really good friends on here. The closure of one area on this site probably stopped this but from reading peoples work you still get a feel for whats important and its really like a window into peoples minds and souls. Occasionally Ill write a message to someone or receive one in return. (Note please dont start a discussion on the closed area as this is banned)

Good to have a place to store my poems. Bit like a really personal online diary.

Nice to get feedback on your poems more so than the voting system. Ive seen too many poor poems voted up to 5 because your friends topped them up. And likewise some wonderful poems voted down because of personal vendettas.

People here are interesting, old and young, different backgrounds and beliefs. People who are Muslims and Christians, ex cons, gay(myself), depressed, funny, all sorts. So what do you think about the site?

I like it, good organization, for the most part the right of speech is respected

on the otherhand the voting system and measures made to secure it need to be updated and i'd say more but i'd get in trouble with moderators for slander
