What Do You Do?

I have this friend that I actually met on this site that in the past year I've become very fond of. He's great but him and I don't live nearly close enough yet I can not look any other direction than his. What do I do?

Yeah, same thing I told someone else. Don't do the whole internet thing. I know he sound lovely over the internet but it usually doesn't work out. It's just a lot of stress for no reason.

If you decide to act on the way you're feelings towards him, then don't let it hold you back in the real world. Any relationship you have online, especially at this age, won't amount to anything. I would guess you don't want to become involved in an internet relationship when you are so young and should be out enjoying yourself with real people. If you decide to, that's your business, but remember that your real life takes priority over your cyber one. Good luck.

while i do see their point of veiw, i also know that love will always find a way. love will be love weather it be same sex, different races, long distance, internet.

Love has very funny ways of working. I say listento what your heart is telling you. Life throws you felings that sometimes need to be recognized. Though graunted it may be hard. If this guy is as great as you say, it may all be worth while =]

I get what all of you are saying and I know I should be ou in the "real world" meeting people and what not. I get it I do. I have tried believe me.. I know how internet dating goes and how most not all people end up lying to you. I met my previous ex on the net and it turned out after four months of dating in life that he was bisexual. That's not my point. I know if he was closer I would not be able to resist. I would be by his side constantly because that's how strongly I feel. But he isn't that's why I was also thinking that after high school I could move closer to him for university or college whichever I decide. I only worry that he will find out how I feel and will get hurt because of it. Thank you for all of your answers.
