Have you given up to?

Have you given up on love? I have. I'm concentrating more on life and the more important things that need to be done, done and over with now. Because of past experiences, with crushes and a really BAD experience I've concluded that liking someone now is way too early, and is very weak. Me, I tend to look to committment and you know. I'm sure there are other girls who also look to comittment. And it's irritating when the guy doesn't want to because he thinks he loses his independence when he commits to something, especially in love. How about you? Have you given up too? At least for now?

I gave up on love until recently. never give up on love. theres always hope for a brighter tomorrow, even when you least expect it <3

for now just enjoy life and take it as it comes. have fun. i know what you mean about comittment. guys are still immature at our age, just give them time. they'll grow up lol =]

When you say guys are still immature at "our" age...did you mean yours as well?

Oh, that's what everyone says. Someone will like you, and you'll like them back, and next thing you know you'll completely forget about 'giving up on love'. Trust me. :)

We're both 17 [unless her age is wrong in her profile]. so i was just saying guys our age, of 17, tend to be immature and such. at least around here they are..lol

Hehehe... most definitely, i have co-qorkers, around our age who are complete, "buttheads" they sometimes get me mad!. lol. That's why i'm glad i don't have a bf. lol. But if I had to, I'd prefer guys older than me. Not too old though. XP

I havent found love yet, because it is just too early.

I'm just trying to live out life, learn new things, find new experiences and maybe i'll just find love on the way

it's always worth it.
you can't love someone and not be hurt in return. that's just the risk you're taking.

One should never give up on love. There just comes a point where you stop looking for it and wait for it to find you. Some people are so intent on finding it, that when they never do they get this 'woe is me, I'll be alone forever' attitude. But if you just don't concentrate on it so much, you'll be surprised where you find it.

besides, at 17...you've still got years before you really need to think about it. I'm only 21 and though I believe I could settle down if 'the right one' came along, it's not my focus.

Well...personally, i never give-up on love, but i don't go looking for it!
the beauty of love is that it finds u, not the other way round!! it's amazing how it works, it always comes when u least expect it!!!
it's magical, just have ur eyes open when it comes knocking on ur door!! don't block it!! and most importantly....DON'T RUSH

I am too young to give up on love. I have been in my current relationship for ten months. By far, my longest and only serious one. I love him. But yeah, I guess it's true when people say don't just go searching for love. But then again, you don't need love to make you happy. Yes it may add to your happiness, but you don't need it to survive.
