i need a boy friend

I don't mean to be mean or anything when I say any of this. You don't need a guy to have an identity. I haven't had a girlfriend for two years now, and I'm not beating myself up because of it.

I deal with this problem every single day. I have so many boy-crazy girl friends (just friends that are girls) that feel like they MUST have a boyfriend to live. Hello? You've been living for the past three seconds when you broke up with your last boyfriend. You don't need another one.

When one gets in a relationship, it should be because of love. Not because of "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOG!!!!!!! I AM SOOO SINGLE!!!!!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!?!?!?!?" There's nothing wrong with you. You are the one that makes something wrong.

These guys are right. You don't need a guy to be happy or to be a SOMEONE.

Truth is, most of the time, relationships just get in the way. When you're single, you can be free to do whatever you want. You can talk to people with worrying your bf/gf might get jealous.

I used to be friends with this guy who couldn't bare the thought of being single. You know what he did when he was single? He called me up every night and told me how much he wished that I was going out with him, even though I was going out with his best friend! You don't want to be that kind of person. Those people are pathetic and will end up MAKING themselves be alone.
