Question for the guys

I know most of the girls in this site agree that it's better to wait to have sex until you're older (I, being one of them).

But is the stereotype of "guys being keen to do it whenever" true? Or do you actually, deep down think it's not so good to lose it so quickly? Anyone regret heading down that path too early in life?

I am a virgin AND I`M PROUD OF IT .I think that those guys who rush it are JERKS

Yay! I'm not going out with anyone right now but when I was, I was SO scared to tell him the truth that I wasn't ready...It was almost like I was trying to CONVINCE myself that I was because, he seemed to be so sure he was ready and I felt bad.

First yu shouldnt be scared because you have the right of saying that you are not ready and if he insists break up with him because hes a jerk

Nice Question. However I must disagree with the fact that most girls, in this site or not, agree that it is better to wait until your older. Waiting has nothing to do with gender it has to do with the personal value an individual places on their sexual activity. Guys may have a natural tendency to have a higher sex drive earlier in life at the same time a girl has a higher drive in discovering what love and romance is all about. Then end result of course is sex but I think the getting there is definately different between genders.
It may seem like a contradiction but working with youth I have seen girls be just as agressive sexually with boys, I don't care for that truth but none the less it is some of what I have observed.
Romance and Chivelry are not dead and there are sexual desires with both genders. The Stereo Type of Guys is both True and False because its an individual Issue.

i agree with Luke...it's more or a principle.
BUT it is a wise and responsible choice to wait. when you have sex too young it corrupts the whole point of youth being left some innocence. with morals completely disregarded in the media teens need to realise having sex just becuase you can doesn't mean it's right. I know plently of couples who have dated for years and want to 'do it' but are waiting before crossing that line.

remember...you only lose your virginity once so do you REALLY want to take the chance and lose it to someone who you might love at the moment but could be gone the next day????
