Um. Well, the only thing I can say is tell her straight up, no BS. If she can't be friends with you because of who you're dating, she can't be much of a friend, ya know? And, by the way you talk about him, you seem happy, and your best friend should want you to be happy.

< Is going to give more advice -- I've found that the longer you wait to tell people stuff, the worse it ends up being. Personally, I wouldn't want a friend who couldn't be happy for me. If it were my situation, I'd tell my friend to either be happy for me, or back the heck off. But that's just me. Also, I have an inkling that your friend will find out sooner or later.

^ the problem is, we have both dated him before. ive dated him 4.5 times before [yes, you can date someone half a time..long story] and shes dated him 5 times. but the last time either of us dated him was like...a yr and a half ago. and hes much more mature now and such, and not so flakey. lol. hes the one that wants to see ME all the time, not vice versa...and well. i dunno. its different. but she HATES him. the day before me and him started talking again [we hadnt talked in like..a yr and a half...since the last time he broke up w/ me]....anyway..the day before me and him started talking, my friend and i talked about him for like..an hr about how much she doesnt like him. and then she found out me and him were talking again and she was like..."erika! no dating!!!" ahhhh. and then i already was when she found out i was just talking to him x.x
