well i'm catholic...and therefore makes me a christain.

I have proclaimed to be a Christian. If I were accused of being real I would hope the evidence would convict me.

Yes, I am a Christian. I go to church, take the Lord's supper every Sunday, and I've been baptized. I don't do anything morally wrong (anymore). I've gone to church for literally forever! :)

I don't think you're in a position to judge whether someone is a 'real' christian or not. Religion is a personal thing.

Im a pagan in belief, but I believe most Christians are by definition wonderful as are muslims budists Hindus etc etc. Follow your own beliefs question your faith, otherwise you cold be the puppet of others and be happy to fit in with everyone else.

Since there's a thread relatively about it I'm going to say this.

God has done a lot of amazing things in my life but something I cannot get over is how he blessed me with the ability to write. I give my words to Him, for He has given me this ability.

When Jesus fed the 5,000(+) he got the bread and fish from a little boy who most likely had brought it from home as a sacked lunch his mother packed him. It was his own lunch that was made for him, but he gave it to Jesus Christ because he KNEW WHO CHRIST WAS and he KNEW THAT EVERYONE NEEDED something to eat. And what did Jesus do with it? Something miraculous and beyond that kid's imagination.

I applied the same thing to my abilities and you can, too. When I first started writing it was because I had fallen in love with the girl who showed me that I needed a relationship with Jesus Christ, I was a romantic writer who only knew how to write love poems. I grew deeper and deeper in love with the Lord and I started to write to Him. My skill grew and grew and I stopped writing for that girl and to get better and I started writing to praise God.

I'm sorry, I just like to give a bit of testimony every now and again :)

There lived a guy, his name was Andy.. He claimed to be a Christain.. every Sunday.. but no other days.

But now, as of 5 months ago.. I've learned. That to be a Christain, is to Love and Serve God, and his son Jesus. To give HIM! THEIR LIFE.. TO FOLLOW AND HONOR In his COMMANDMENTS.
To turn from all that is wrong, and dwell in his pressence. And yes, it can be done. It has been done.. We can only wonder how long right?
NO!!!.. If we live through and in God... DAY BY DAY!!!
We can live a life without sin. Take the time EVERY SINGLE DAY.. to LoVe And Cherish God. For then he will direct you in the way you shall go. I have found my passion in God.. and that is to write lyrics.
And FROM God, I have been given such TALENT That the lyrics he gives me.. are FAR much better than the ones I write myself. Trust in God with all your heart and might. If you feel God every single day, Every morning you wake up with a smile on your face from his pressence.. Then God is with you, and that my friend is a priceless thing for a Christain.

You can live without sin?...you mean to say that you don't commit sins anymore?, damn i wanna meet you, can you walk on water too? becuase even jesus was a sinner...so you must be divine beyond all compehension...

and just to stir the pot, the last time, i got on one of these christian (blah blah blahs), people got kinda mad at me, because of my personal beliefs...
but i'm feeling a little controversial tonite so BAM!...here's a huge contradiction for all you freakin churcho's, i don't believe in god, but i believe in jesus....HA!, i dont read the bible, i only go to church to take communion, which is eating the flesh and drinking the blood of christ, i fully believe the he died for me sins, (and probably yours too), unless you are sinless?..ha..i pray to him, i live my life the best i can, and try to do the next right thing, which doesnt make me special, but it's more than i can say for a lot of bible thumpin psychos, that go to church and forget everything as soon as they walk out the door, and speaking of churches, i dont believe you need those either, you can choose to worship if that's what you're into out in the middle of a grassy field for christ's sake, ooopppps, was that a sin?..well, my jesus has a great sense of humor and has been called a whole lot worse things than i do...and my soul is intact, and feel just fine...so....let the persecution begin, but first CAN I GET A WITNESS!!!

I am not sinless.. I didn't mean in anyway that I've never sinned.. But I will state, that we can ask for forgiveness.. and live the rest of our lives.. without Sin! If we'd just open our eyes, and live our life For God and Jesus. Bring them into everything that we do! Wherever we go! Sin itself tries to tell us that we cannot go through life without it! But truth is we can!! We just have to put our trust, life! Heart and everything into God. And through him he will grant us strength to not only rid sin, but to overcome it anytime that it is forced upon us!
I don't know how you can believe in Jesus, and not God? That would make no sense... at all! Jesus is God's son.. and we do need the Bible. It has God's word in it.. and we need it through out our Journey through him.
You are right about, church.. we could live without it! But it is definately a good way to keep our focus on God's word and take that word out with us through out the week. We should take God's word out with us everyday. And often sing praises and worship him! For he is worthy to be praised.
And worthy to save. And worthy to love everyone, no matter what they've been through.

Jesus was someone who walked among us, God has not, it is easier to believe in a man that exists, than one who may or may not.

Personally I don't think one needs to believe in church or the bible to have a relationship with God. Too many try to speak for Him and not of Him.

Regardless of what anyone believes they should strive to be a good person.

and like i said it's workin' for me, and that's good enough, there is a deeper reason of why, but that's WAY too long and personal to get into, i collect jesus and mary stuff, rather compulsively, and my newest aquisition is a jesus bobblehead...how cool is that! hell yeah!...free will...amen...

Jesus, himself.. says I am the Son of God. So if you do so really believe in him. You must believe in God. Otherwise your going against everything he really says.
Think about it.
Remeber the words, that he used. "I am"
He is the son of God!

Anyways just thought I'd point that out. Jesus without God.. is like you without your Mom.

Well. I'm a christian..=] and one thing i've recently learned is that being a christian has gotten waaay shallow in America. You know missionary's are coming over here now? But yeah anyways..I just wonder what happened to living for God..and not just going to church. you can go to church all you want and live a good life..But that still won't get you into heaven sadly..Live for God. that's what a Christian Is ..In my Opinion.
